The products from this farm include soursop, rambutan, citrus fruits, herbs, and coffee.
The Techniques
This farm uses an agroforestry system called multi-story planting. Coffee is a shrub that grows in the shade of trees like timber and fruit trees. Below the coffee, there are even more crops. Together, they form an ecosystem like a natural forest that supports the health of all the crops, as well as other plants and animals.
The People
All members of the Rodriguez family participate in the planting, care, and harvesting of the crops.
